How Ayurveda can help
The therapy modalities increase the blood supply to the area, thereby facilitating removal of metabolites. Medicated oils and herbs provide pain relief as penetration of skin facilitated by the oils along with warmth. The warmth and massage also helps reduce the stiffness and break down adhesions. Thus pain is relieved and movements become free. Relaxation of adjacent muscles also contributes to pain relief.
A Stopover In UAE Always Helps
Air carriers from the United Arab Emirates have failed to cut a deal with the Canadian government for more flights between the two countries. Air Canada has objected to this deal as it believes there is little traffic that originates from United Arab Emirates to Canada.
Air Canada does not realise that Canadians with origins in India have lot of families and relatives living in United Arab Emirates especially from Kerala. Most of the Malayalees living in this part of the world would love to have a stopover in United Arab Emirates to visit their families and relatives before continuing their journey to Kerala.
Toronto Needs Immigrant Friendly Mayor
Shibu (name changed for anonymity) is a bio-technology professional who landed in Toronto recently. He was fortunate to have someone to receive him at the airport and find him a temporary accommodation for no cost.
He holds a PhD in bio-technology from India, however could not find even a starting position in his field. He tried attending professional conferences to meet peers practicing in his field in Toronto. That didn’t help him much too.
Time passed by and he ran out of fund with which he came to Canada. It seems he was over qualified for odd-jobs. He didn’t get the right guidance on time to approach universities in Toronto to sign up for an apprenticeship. He reached a point at which he realised he wouldn’t be able to buy air ticket to return to India. That’s when he was offered a job at Detroit with the help of a friend. He now lives in Windsor and work in Detroit. He was just lucky; but not many are.
