About Us
TorontoMalayalee.ca is a portal serving the Malayalee community in Toronto. Malayalees are folks from the province of Kerala in India where the primary language is Malayalam. The website is an effort by selfless individuals among the Malayalees, in and around Toronto, to build a community. They help new immigrants settle in Canada and build a support network. These “pravasis” living far away from India need support in times of difficulty.
TorontoMalayalee.ca is a non-profit website with pointers to various services available in Toronto, both public as well private. It offers job hunting help as well as career development services. A member of the community could run an article in this website with no cost attached. The website is the host of a soccer team called “SoccerKoottam” which plays soccer every weekend from April till October. All these services are offered to the community by its own volunteers and there is no cost associated with using it. We have no affiliation to any group, sect or party.
Since the start of the website in August 2007, we found good response from the community. We received enormous response requesting for help while folks land and settle in Toronto.
Some of us are successful in Canada, while others are on its way to achieve it. This website facilitates sharing such experiences that may benefit others. We hope to continue giving back to the community and helping them enjoy their life in Toronto.

Dear all,
We take this opportunity to thank all members of Torontokoottam for supporting and helping us through their instructions / advises on our landing in Canada.
We have landed in Toronto on 13 February, completed formalities of landing and returned to U.A.E. to complete the formalities here & our children’s education, before moving permanently to Canada within a year.
Thanks once again and hope to meet all of you once we permanently migrate to Canada. Also hope to get your usual support still.
Regards,
V. Sarasan & family
